Prophetic Guidance (PG) was set up in 2003 to respond to the increasing needs of Muslims in the UK, as well as to harness the skills and resources of the community in order to bring ease and benefit to those in difficulty and to help promote Islam in its traditional form.

As a non-profit educational institute, PG intends to unify the various Muslim communities by disseminating classical non-sectarian Islamic knowledge, utilising the media in its various present forms to ensure that the Prophetic guidance given to us by our master, Sayyidina Muhammad (upon whom be the peace and blessings of God) reaches all people without discrimination – for we sincerely believe that only in Islam will our hearts find true peace and understanding.

We hope to achieve this by holding regular classes, seminars, forums, and conferences to educate the Muslim community as well as sponsor and support particularly able students to study under the world’s most prominent scholars in the classical seminaries of the Islamic world and return back to the West to marry together their home-grown culture and sacred knowledge to ensure maximum benefit for our communities. We recognise the need to provide both academic level research and teachings for eager students (which will be under the supervision of “The Nahlah Foundation”) as well as a more informal approach for our Youth and those otherwise ‘unconventionally’ attracted to Islam as a way of living ones’ life as morally and ethically as possible in the increasingly challenging and materialistic society that we live in.

We also propose to interact further with the different faith and non-faith communities via our various forums, events and dialogue groups to ensure better understanding and co-operation, as well as to support the noble work of Da’wah to our fellow neighbours and citizens by presenting Islam as it should be, God Willing.

We hope and pray that you will support us in our various projects, in the very least by your prayers and indeed with God lies all success.
